GIPSY MELODY OF TURIN HILL (IMP)

Melody was one of the 6 original ponies imported to Australia which have made up the foundation of Highland Pony breeding in Australia.  Born in May 1977, bred by Mrs J. Compton of the Turin Hill Stud in Angus, Scotland, Melody was sold to Mr & Mrs Hoole of the Taranganba Stud who at the time lived in Gerogery, NSW.  She arrived in Australia in October 1979.
