Harkaway Lodge Kurrajong

Kurrajong (know as "Jonkers" at home - don't ask, my husband gave him that name.... He is a lovely friendly little fellow.
He is by Barrymoor Mercury out of Haven Gabby (Bundy). Bundy is a part Highland Part Haflinger therefore Kurrajong is registered as an Australian Highland Pony.
He has 2 long white socks on both back legs, we assume they have come from the Haflinger side! He was born a rich chestnut and I thought I had a red dun, but out dropped the foal coat and along came grey! A little dissapointing but he is lovely grey all the same.
We thought we would loose him last year when he became very ill with an inflamed large bowel, causes unknown, but he has recovered well and is back to his normal self.
He has just been sold to Sarah Cuury from Yea, Victoria. Sarah is going to break him in and use him in her riding school to teach children to ride.
Out falls the lovely chestnut foal coat!
