Recently Harkaway Lodge Hunter owned by Isobel Collins in Qld was used for a Pony Club C test by a friend who needed a versatile pony to cover all the disciplines used in this test. Hunter did very well and I believe his young rider was very pleased. Hunter is a partbred gelding out of Ballantrae Crusheen (Connemara) by Barrymoor Jagirdar. He has recently joined the Collins family who purchased him from Victoria where he has done some Pony Club in the past but was not used a great deal. It's great to see him out and about again and providing children with lost of fun.
Isobel's younger daughter Islay has been riding him in some Western Clinics and the pair have been getting on famously. He also went to the Qld stud pony show where he was the Reserve Champion APSB partbred Exhibit.
