Currie Park Akira is owned by Sarah McAndrew in WA and was bred by Jim and Myra Currie of the Currie Park Highland Pony Fold in Pinjarra WA. Sarah and Akira currently compete in breed classes, both Mountain & Moorland & Buckskin classes and have just started some saddle work. Akira is dual registered with both the APSB and the UPWBDA as a dun coloured horse. She has been doing well in her Buckskin/Dun classes winning numerous Championships & Supreme Championship awards. More recently she was awarded the Supreme Champion Dilute at the Pinjarra 2 Day extravaganza and Supreme Champion Highland Pony at the Bunbury show in March 2006.
